A portrait of an animal or a close-up shot is always beautiful, but what do you remember most about your travels or safaris? I believe it's the atmosphere of the place and the nature surrounding us. That's why I sometimes like to zoom out with my lens and capture the environment around the subject too. These are my favorite pictures showcasing unique environments and their typical wildlife, taken along the Italian rivers.
Some of my images are featured in the book 'Fiumi d'Italia,' published and produced by A.F.N.I. (Associazione Fotografi Naturalisti Italiani).
